Veda Rasheed, a parent from our Benning Campus, was inspired to coordinate a āStop the Violence, Increase the Peaceā rally to address the recent uptick in violence in Ward 7. Over 300 participants including parents, students, ČĖĘŽĀŅĀ× groups, and elected officials marched peacefully from our Benning Road Campus to River Terrace.
The safety and vibrancy of the communities surrounding our schools remains one of our highest priorities, and we are grateful for parents like Ms. Rasheed for drawing attention to the issues that matter most.
